A bunch of experts say that you need to let go of your hatred. They say that holding onto your hatred does not harm the one (thing or entity) you hate, but it harms you. So you should let go of your hatred - in your own interest, not for the motherfuckers who did you wrong. This might be true.
But if it is true, then what is the function of this natural feeling? Why is it built into most humans by default - there must be a reason, and if that reason is something more important than reaching "the state of Zen" each and every day... When was the last time you reached "perfect Zen" in your life which was not a lie? Do not lie to yourself, at least.
Do not fall in love with something that tries to hurt you and to eat you alive. Do not go blind in front of your enemy. This is basic instinct. This might be the other function of hatred.
Given there was a "restructuration" effort going on for months already in my last workplace - my workmates learned to grow their hatred, in the background, then turn it against me while I was thinking they are just normal people, fearing a little bit from the future, but basically normal people.
People living in the normality, having any kind of morals and basic common sense DO NOT even try to harm their fellow colleague behind his back. My colleagues did. I also see how pathetic these people were - and if I was "in love" with them, if I had the rose-colored glasses on, I could not see fuck about these pathetic losers. I would think they might be "friends".
This would be a huge mistake. There are no such thing as a friend in any workplace. People you think are friends will stab you into the back the first moment they can.
Hatred keeps you awake. Hatred keeps you watching all the time, having suspicion all the time. And this is exactly what is needed to survive. Of course it is bad to live in this state. You cannot trust anyone.
My workplace existence did not survive. Do not follow me to where I am now.
So it is best for you to trust only one thing in the workplace: your instinct. If I trusted my instincts, and acted accordingly, I would have left the company before they laid me off, to queue in the unemployment office with other unfortunate men. I did not listen to my instincts that told me: this manager STINKS. This company REEKS.
It started in March 2025. They "sent over" a bunch of high-level managers who didn't give a fuck about our work until then. They did not even know about our existence. Suddenly they grow a special "interest" in our daily activity. There was a period when "we had to introduce ourselves" to members of the management on a weekly basis. To snobbish morons who did not give a fuck about ourselves.
What they did give a fuck about is: how many of the underdogs are there working for me? - They came to Budapest office to COUNT the heads. COUNT the heads and to create a plan of dismissals.
INSTINCT 101: Be aware when managers who you are not directly reporting to get suddenly "interested" in you or in the team you are working in. It means reorganization which means lay-offs. They are so pathetic, and I am so angry at myself as well - why did I not listen to my instincts: this kind of action from management is always a pre-sing of the coming lay-offs.
INSTINCT 102: If one of your colleagues refuses the free beer that you are inviting him to, this means he is the one who is sabotaging your existence in the team. He manipulates the boss against you for a long time now. So it wouldn't feel "appropriate" if he had accepted a beer from you. Assholes feel inside that they are assholes. They are just unable to admit this, admit their pitiful feelings, not even to themselves. This makes them an asshole. They don't know their place. They think they are omnipotent because the manager told them in advance that "there will be cutoffs in the headcounts". They are pathetic. Both the manager who speaks out of her bubble and the favorited employee who loves to be favorited by the manager.
INSTINCT 103: If you work like an animal, and your manager does not recognise it by herself - by recognition, I mean money, a lot of money - this means she does not give a shit about the workload in her own team. In other words: she is looking for another job within the company, and she is too busy with that, so she won't pay any attention to her team, she is interested in saving her own ass only... Even worse: it could mean her managers does not have any expectation towards the tasks to be performed by the team you are a part of - because they already found a very talented AI robot to do your job (and your teammates' job too).
Only one question remains: when will they give you a notice, emphasizing it is not about performance... At this point - it might be too late. There's nothing to do. They were assholes, they are assholes now and you cannot do anything about it.
AI does steal your job, but if it is so, that is only because your manager wants this to happen.
AI might not steal your job. It is just that the management of the company you are working for is talantless, brainless, greedy, and all they do is lying.

So all this bullshitting leads to one thing: a bigger story.
This is the n-th crisis in the history of Budapest based SSCs, where "n" is too big a number. Bad management, bad strategic decisions and lay-offs happen when there is a WAY BIGGER STORY BEHIND. There is a huge information gap between companies and real-life people, and my story proves it perfectly.
We don't know what their "strategy" really is. They say one thing, but they cannot be trusted. If they ask something, that is a lie already.
I mean I would understand if some of the very-respected SSCs would have a plan how to leave the country, without leaving a trace. There are a bunch of reasons that might be giving headache to them.
There is no GDP-growth in the economy for a very long time. Inflation is high. Also for a very long time. Stagflation rarely leads to happiness and growth. It leads to collapse way more often. Workforce wants more pay, or they will be absolutely unmotivated, unproductive and even less useful than they were since Covid. Companies cannot (and does not want to) pay more.
More and more companies are unable to see a cost-saving option, so a reason to employ Hungarians in Hungary because general price levels are nearing the core Western countries' price levels (high inflation), so the workforce wants to be paid near the core Western salaries. But there is very tiny chance they will ever be. And maybe some of the "centers" would not like to be near, when the workforce realizes they need to live a life without prospects, whithout a decent chance to buy a fucking flat ever, without a decent chance to have something in life.
There is a development curve to everything. Even to the presence of these very respected companies or to the continued *peration of ***sent in one of the darkest places of *** well you figure it out.
