From where I am, it seems the job markets shat their pants. At least in this putrid hell city I am living in, job markets seem to have shat their pants. I am wondering why is that. This article is about the so-called Pay Transparency directive (initiative) of the European Union, and mainly about the effects that I assume it will cause. Anything in this article is just an assumption.
It is very likely that there are a lot of shit companies, a lot of loser companies these days. Workplace environment seems to be destructive and toxic. This brings out the worst in people. Corporations are fine with this, they think people are managed. Most companies are toxic culture. Colleagues are too carrierists. They are fighting even for the positions that are lowest in hierarchy. This is mad.
The following article is not directed against women. It does not hate women, nor does it seek to roll back women's rights to the Middle Ages. I simply want equality. It is time for the society to see things clearly. For women, too. For men, too.
Turns out fucking HR is trying to spy on you and every applicants. Sometimes they succeed. If you are sending them a CV or resume, the first thing they will do is to check whether your name appears on their favorite social media. Whether they can find you or not.
This is what it looks like to seek employment in this job market that is an employers market. People, who are lucky enough to have a job, look away, whether in shame or in fear. People show their worst, in the workplace or in the streets. Nothing matters, people tend to betray you time and time again. Searching for a change. A change in society.
Radio speeches of the previous prime minister created a fake world, a distorted reality. Few have seen it before the fall. One of the most popular lie of those in power is that 'if you are searching, you can find a job, and if you cannot find a job, that is your fault then'. They lied. The denied everything. What if the Big Brother is a liar?
We thought it would be useful to vent about the shithole that is called labor market in Hungarian too. We feel our very noble feelings about the current labor market could be better expressed in Hungarian.
